OSP Yamato

OSP has reverse-engineered the pencil popper to establish a new genre of surface multi-action baits: the Yamato. Normal pencil poppers have one cup on the front of the bait to establish its action- the Yamato took it the next step and equipped cups on both sides of the lure's head and the bottom was designed to push out like a lip. One: a walk the dog action churns more water and increases splash while the centerboard below the head controls the current like a rudder and allows the bait to perform wide turns with stability. Two: line ties allow for two different actions: tying to the higher eye creates a peculiar pop sound and dome splash while tying to the bottom eye causes the bait to dive subsurface for a wake bait appeal on a straight retrieve or walk-the-dog action.
